Do you enjoy organising, keeping an overview and moving things forward together with customers and colleagues?
In this role, you support our sales team from quotation through to delivery. Working with logistics and materials planning, you ensure that orders are processed carefully, deadlines are coordinated and documentation is complete. You will be in regular contact with business partners in Germany and abroad.
You ensure reliable order handling in close cooperation with our sales and trading colleagues, who make the pricing and trading decisions.
Your responsibilities
- Process and update customer and supplier orders.
- Prepare and follow up quotations and order confirmations.
- Coordinate deliveries, transport and deadlines with logistics and materials planning.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders and warehouses.
- Maintain trading documents and customer, supplier and inventory data.
- Prepare data and analyses and provide support for appointments and business trips.
What you bring
- Commercial or logistics training.
- Initial professional experience in a commercial, logistics or administrative role. Knowledge of metal trading is an advantage.
- Interest in aluminium, industrial products and international business relationships.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP or merchandise management systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, is an advantage.
- Good German and English skills. Additional languages are an advantage.
- A careful, reliable and independent approach, along with teamwork, clear communication and initiative.
